Planning for the proposed kennels has been refused by the North Shropshire District Council (NSDC). This follows a request on 4 April 2008, from NSDC planning department for significant additional information from the North Shropshire Hunt and their agents in support of their application.
Neither the North Shropshire Hunt nor their agents have submitted answers to these questions. They have also chosen to ignore the advice of the planners to withdraw the application while they sought this information, much of which is required to be provided by qualified independent assessors.
It is on the grounds of inadequate information that planning permission has been refused this week. There is no doubt that collating all of the information required will take both time and money but the community will remain vigilant and monitor any reapplications for the property.
The full list of additional information required can be accessed here.
